Ubiquiti released their first version of Unifi API version 0.1 a few months ago. As monitoring Unifi equipment hasn’t been that simple with the lack of SNMP, this is a welcome change for all environments using Unifi products.
Currently the API is very limited, but there’s still some data available for us to use for monitoring purposes. We can monitor when the last backup was created, some packed loss statistics and some software version.
What’s not available at the moment is more detailed performance statistics. Hope they will add this at a later time, as that’s something I’m personally more interested in.
